Representation

Our History

SATURDAY MORNING was founded in 2016 as a collaborative community of seasoned executives, each bringing decades of experience across strategic and creative fields. By partnering with individuals and organizations, SATURDAY MORNING fosters transformative ideas designed to challenge and reshape perceptions around racial bias and injustice.

Our services have included consulting, strategy, creative, and production for Fortune 500 companies, including P&G, Spotify, Delta, and Facebook.

The Next Chapter

Our goal is to inspire and empower underserved high school students by giving them access to the creative industries. We create a dynamic, hands-on experience through teaching, mentorship, and professional exposure.

We aim to cultivate creativity, build essential skills, and broaden career horizons in fields such as advertising, design, media, film, and technology.

By fostering an inclusive, supportive environment, we equip our students with the tools, confidence, and networks to succeed and thrive as the next generation of diverse voices and innovators in the creative world. Read about our program.

Community

The SATURDAY MORNING program is designed for 16-18-year-olds from low-income communities in Los Angeles. We are open to high schoolers in 10th to 12th grades of all genders who have a passion for the creative fields but may not yet be aware of the diverse career opportunities available within them.

By offering exposure to different creative industries, the program aims to inspire and guide students, helping them discover potential career paths they may not have considered before.

Whether through hands-on experience or mentorship, students will gain valuable insights into how they can turn their creative interests into a sustainable career. Learn about our program.

BUILDING FOR THE FUTURE

The SATURDAY MORNING CENTER FOR CREATIVITY aims to inspire the next generation to explore futures in art and design. It is envisioned as a dynamic hub for the community, offering a wide range of programs focused on empowering children and young adults through the creative arts. From fine arts and performing arts to design, creative technology, and other artistic pursuits, the center will provide opportunities to explore and learn.

Pell Overton, an award-winning architectural and design firm, imagined a space for SATURDAY MORNING that goes beyond function — it will be a place for meeting, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas, all with the goal of creating solutions that have a meaningful impact on culture. Understanding that creativity is one of the most powerful forces in the world, Pell Overton’s design fosters an environment where young people can discover and express their creativity.

We look forward to witnessing this dream become a reality in the near future.
